The Milky Way over Norway鈥檚 and Northern Europes highest mountain- Galdh酶piggen 2469m 馃嚦馃嚧I had to spend the night at 2037 meters above sea level to capture this image. At such high altitude, I felt fairly exposed for rapid weather changes, so I had to really step out of my comfort zone and overcome a bit of fear when I captured this image. When I planned this shot, I had a hypothesis that the higher You go and the colder it gets, the Milky Way would appear much brighter and clearer. I found this to be true. I have never seen the Milky Way like this before. This night is a memory that will stay in my memory for ever.
This image was originally a bakck up time lapse frame from my video Magical Norway 馃嚦馃嚧 vimeo.com/240977816 Although I think my Canon 35mm f1.4 MK ii/5d MK4 rendered a better result than this image shot on Samyang 24mm f/1.4 and Canon 6d, this image ain鈥檛 that bad either 馃槈
