"Fear of Insects"
(Entomophobia)
Phobia

I love insects although some people have an aversion, a phobia about insects, well looking at this tiny golden eyed lacewing you may see from its wings that it loves you ‘💚’

So therefore please try and overcome any phobias, although this little chap did fly onto my shirt and I couldn’t see where it went????
To be honest I did jump a bit Ha’ ha’ 😂

These green little flies are fortunately harmless to humans.
They are carnivorous and eat soft body insects such as mites, fleas, aphids and mealybugs too, they also eat plants.

The larvae of this fly are carnivorous too and have large hollow jaws used to suck out the juices from their victims …. horrible really 😈 …. like insect vampires …. Don’t worry they are tiny 10mm I should image.

It’s amazing the life cycles of insects, I can really understand why humans may have phobias about insects and looking at an image of the ugly evil looking larvae of the lacewing I do understand why!!!! 😂

Thank you so much everyone for …. viewing, commenting or favouring my little image …. It’s really appreciated "Cheers!"👍👍👍👍👍
