In 1952 East Texas State released this hand book setting the standard for female students as to the coming year. Though the school offered many great things it was a product of its time period when it came to women’s rights in the fifties. It was nothing that the women of the time were not used to but it did serve as a reminder of conduct which left an imprint on the students.Students left with a way in which to carry themselves which may or may not have been there before.
