When lockdowns begun in March 2020, and early January in other countries, few of us could have ever imagined the road ahead. Whilst protecting lives and developing a vaccine was swift, new variants meant that the virus was one step ahead at times. A lot has changed in people’s lives. Some used the time to reflect and arrived to their own conclusions about work-life balance (or lack of), career aspirations and relationships. I think if the pandemic has taught us anything at all, it is to be kinder to each other.
I don’t think I need to introduce the location, but if I do, it is Buttermere, a place I hope to visit many more times.
